“Fire N Ice” originated from a pack of kids, legends and local surf heroes that grew up in Kona surfing. It was a way a family and community of surfers on the Big Island of Hawaii used to describe being tenacious or reaching the pinnacle of success. Ancestors would use it to mean from beginning to end. It’s about the way how you got where you are and want to be. It’s just a way of living and you can use it to describe almost everything felt when surfing. It is not only a lifestyle but an attitude. It means that you have Respect for one another may that be a person, land, h20 or the nature of anything that can happen out in the ocean. Sometimes used to explain somethings that you can’t control. Though if you respect the limits of nature and the elements, then everything will feel more at balance. Fire N Ice is a special way of describing a land where you can snowboard in the morning, surf in the afternoon and skate at night. It’s a way how people choose to spend their lives. To being at peace, balance, a free spirit, adventurer or different, finding fire that you never knew you had, being chill as ice, having no fear, encompassing the unknown and making your dreams happen. That is what Fire N Ice is all about.
Fire N Ice has been in Hawaii before the 70’s and who knows really when.
Though we started doing apparel in 2012.
Made a big move from Hawaii then came to our sister states California and Oregon where you can do all board sports in one day.
We have warehouses in Kona, Hawaii - Huntington Beach, California - Portland, Oregon - Lincoln City, Oregon.
Started doing wetsuits, outerwear and gear in 2014.
Goggles came in 2016.
Starting off small with big dreams of providing technology in our products that will change the surf, snow and skate game while trying to make others dreams happen.
For us it’s about how hard we tried and seeing where that takes us.
